How The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) Will Help

European investment in Michigan supported 123,400 jobs in 2012 and in 2013, Europe purchased $6.3 billion worth of goods from Michigan.

On Wednesday, December 2, a program was held in Troy, MI on the topic of the TTIP, the trade agreement currently being negotiated by the U.S. and EU.  The goal of the program was to educate businesses, media and the greater public about the agreement and the positive impact of enhanced transatlantic trade for Michigan and beyond.

The morning program consisted of keynote remarks from a Ford Motor Company official, and a panel of business and government experts discussing transatlantic trade and Michigan business.
