Digital Economy Workshop (WDC)

The Digital Economy Workshop (DEW) is held annually on the day before the US-EU government-to-government Information Society Dialogue (ISD). The DEW offers industry executives the opportunity to provide technology and policy insights to senior US and EU officials ahead of the ISD. We develop the agenda in consultation with our member companies and the two governments. The DEW Dinner features a keynote speaker (tbd).

10 members of the International Trade Committee (INTA) Delegation of the European Parliament led by Vital Moreira, Chair of INTA Committee and Standing Rapporteur for US met with TBC members to discuss TTIP and regulatory issues.
Introduction to EU and US Regulatory and Standards Systems: Areas of Agreement and Dispute (BRX & WDC)

The TBC hosted a 3 hour seminar focused on educating members on the nature of the regulatory and standards systems specific differences and discuss past attempts to address the differences. This event was held in DC and Brussels and connected via video conference.
