The TABC welcomes the recent joint statement on transatlantic relations by the European Commission and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

We share the overall objective mentioned in the joint statement that the transatlantic partnership should work to advance global common goods, providing a solid base for stronger multilateral action and institutions. In this framework, the transatlantic partnership should first and foremost be a framework to pursue common interests and leverage the transatlantic collective strength to deliver results on the joint strategic priorities of the EU and U.S.
